8th Day - Now I'm a fan!

I was always skeptical when it came to the group 8th day (Bentzy & Shmuel Marcus). However, with the new Oorah CD, I have become an 8th day convert. To tell you the truth, I never even gave them a chance, and I'm at fault. I never made much of the brothers from out of L.A. I just figured they were amateurs and it wasn't worth a listen. Let me tell you something, boy was I wrong!

It's Shabbos Now, their song on the new Oorah album is so catchy, I'm just walking around humming the tune and singing "aye yai yai na na na num". Don't know what I'm talking about? Listen to the song above from the Oorah album. You won't regret it!

Adam Lo Nivra - L'hisaneig B'Mountaindale Album

This is one of the songs on the album to benefit the Yeshiva of Mountaindale.

The artists performing on "Adam lo nivra" are Baruch Naftel, Chaim Felder, and Hillel Kapnick.

Baryo Chakshur - Berachamim Single

Yehuda Nass, is the producer of Baryo a great talent in the music field who is already making an impact on the jewish music scene, with his composition of “Birshus” for Yaakov Shwekey and his various performances around Israel. They are now releasing his first single, an original composition of his very own entitled “Berachamim”. A very inspiring message with the matzav of today’s day and age the lyrics articulate a message of our request to Hakadosh Baruch Hu of having mercy on all of us and helping us out of the various tzaros which klal yisroel is finding itself in day in and day out. Mi Adir - A JMDerech composition

I'm getting married and I'm so happy!

I composed this song for my kallah to be sung under the chuppah, which will hopefully be sung by my brothers.

I do all the vocals and it was recorded with GarageBand for mac and a cheap computer microphone. Nothing special, but I wanted to post it so everyone could share in the simcha with me!

Someone just emailed this to me, it’s an a cappela track of Ari Goldwag singing Ribono. This song was on Shea Rubenstein’s CD.

It’s composed by Ari Goldwag. It’s really amazing. I think this was one of the nicest songs on Shea’s album, and I’m even more impressed with it here.

Ari really does a beautiful job, he sounds great. It’s also a very stripped down version, nothing except strong vocals and some very light choir.

I strongly recommending downloading it here, and listening below.

Berry Weber - "Aheim" Acapella

Personally, I love Berry Weber's voice. Usually the chassidishe pronunciation of the words in the song bother me, but Weber has a fantastic (almost Yehuda! like) voice. Another amazing chassidishe talent to check out is Shloime Taussig who also recently released his debut album.

Shua Kessin - Acapella Single!

Shua Kessin is a name you'd might have been hearing more of lately, and for good reason. Shua has recently become a huge name on both the Kumzits and wedding scene. He is currently finshing to record his debut album, "LO LIHITYAISH" which will be ready at the end of the Summer. This debut album is produced by Ozer Babad, and will feature songs composed by Shua himself.

We wanted you to get a small taste of what Shua has to offer, and so we present to you an A Cappela version of Nishmas. This is a song that Shua composed and will also be featured on his upcoming album.

Here is a small description of the song by Shua.

"We say Nishmas every Shabbos. I was recently talking to a friend who has been going through some terrible Tzoras. Whenever I ask him how he is doing he always makes a point in saying "Baruch Hashem!" I asked him what he thinks the meaning of Nishmas is and he told me, without any hesitation, "We aren't expressing our thanks for the extras in life like a nice house, or a nice car...we are simply thanking hashem for the basics. The fact that we wake up every morning and we breathe, we smile, we eat, we are healthy."

That's a special thought and the message is simple. Hashem is always there for us making sure we have everything we need to survive, even with all the trouble facing us in todays tough Matzav. Hashem is always there for us, and for that we sing, Nishmas Kol Chai."
