Shea Rubenstein - Giving Back to the Community
Brooklyn, NY - Recording artist Shea Rubenstein has announced his offer to perform free of charge at events held by charities and other nonprofit organizations for the duration of 2009. “Charities face so many obstacles in the current economic turndown, with more people in need, and fewer donations pouring in,” Shea explains. “I want to give back to those who give to many.” His magnanimous offer extends to all charities and nonprofit organizations who seek to enhance their events with professional vocal entertainment. Instead of having to set aside a large part of their budget to obtain a musical artist, Rubenstein will now provide that for them, gratis.
Shea Rubenstein released his debut album, entitled, “Ohavti,” in December. His music video, “Window in Heaven,” is the most downloaded English Jewish music video on the internet, and has garnered a huge following. Shea has performed throughout the United States, Israel and Europe. His audiences have included various elected officials and religious leaders, including, most recently, Governor David Patterson. Shea performs Carlebach-style Shabbosim and Kumzites on a regular basis. He is sought after at weddings, Sheva Brachos and other Simchas throughout the country.
Organizations seeking to accept his generous offer should contact Shea Rubenstein by visiting his website, www.shearubenstein.com. Alternately, he can be reached by phoning 917-668-4115. Shea’s gracious offer is emblematic of the initiative needed to quell the effects of the recession on our community at large. It is his hope that others will follow his example.
Shea Rubenstein's debut album can be bought on Mostlymusic's website.
